Overall a good product for the money.
1 of 1 found this helpful The quality of the welds and overall design is great, the electric cut out control being remote so far, seems to work very well. The only down side to the whole unit is the fit of the flap on the cut out side is a little loose and when in closed position it has a little exhaust flutter sound escaping from there. It sounds like a small exhaust leak when closed due to the fit, but other than that, overall a very good product for the money.

Great polisher
I have had one of these 66615 polishers since new about 6 or 8 years ago and it finally quit on me, and they are no longer sold as new. I restore classic cars here at Speedsmith Motorsports in 38329 TN. This particular model polisher has been one of the best I have ever used, fully adjustable rpm 100 per adjustment from 1000 to 3500. It has a good weight to it that makes it do most of the work, and the digital display works great. Don't be fooled by the "new model" 62297 that replaces this one. The unit is smaller (a little lighter, makes you do more of the polish work), digital rpm starts at 1000 to 3500, but is only 500 rpm adjustments (harder for fine polish work), also, the 1000 rpm start is more like 1400-1500 rpms, so it is not very accurate. I don't normally write a review for anything, just don't have the time, but, this is one worth writing about!
