Good, but a little on the expensive side.
This is a generally good external HDD. FireWire cables are included in the box, and a USB cable is attached. The easy setup system is good, but a little inflexible for anything more than a single-PC user.
I use the hard drive for audio editing and transferring data to and from different PCs of different OSes. The built in system for partitioning the drive with Mac and Windows partitions is useful, however I would have liked to have been able to set the size of the partitions within the wizard.
The drive feels solid, even though it is plastic on the outside, and looks sleek and professional. The included cables are quite short, however, and this may be an issue for those not using laptop computers.
Overall, this drive is good, but expensive for what it is - an external hard drive with FireWire interface.
