Brand New, ac protocol over tripled my speed over n
This came brand new (but out of box) and SUPER Quick. It still had the protective plastic film on the face of the adapter came with the CD with and install directions (the directions were in french but the pictures helped).
The install was easy but it took longer than you'd expect. The WPS button on the adapter made joining the network a snap.

Great product as long as YOU (and your bags) are consistent.
Built Solid and seems like it will last a long time. I switch between different thicknesses of plastic without a problem because the controls are consistent (even between machines, I have 4). If you use consistent pressure, you'll be happy as you will be able to dial it in. Don't keep changing the pressure you use to seal as this changes the setting needed. I also recommend using the lowest setting that will get you a proper seal.... the lower the setting the less time the plastic will stay melted (more important on thicker plastics). Also, don't force pealing the bag from the device as that can damage the seal.... if it is too difficult to peel, you're likely not waiting long enough for the plastic to cool or you setting is too high.
A lot of this is just common sense. just know this, the machine is consistent, so if your getting sporadic results, something else is likely changing.
