These were made for S&W by Vermont knives of 440 steel. Great feel and balance. Sold through the S&W dealers.

Needs 1/4" thick blades.
0 of 1 found this helpful It is designed for a wide 1/4" thick knife. My 3/16th" won't stay in and flops around. not safe.
