Zero Degree (F) Boy Scout Campout
2 of 2 found this helpful I've been dreading an upcoming ski trip with my son and his Boy Scout troop. I knew our 30 degree (F) "cold weather" Coleman sleeping bags wouldn't cut it. I poked around online and this seemed to be the highest quality at the lowest price. The Gore-Tex covers had a few patches, but they seemed expertly done. What do I care? My goal is to stay warm. The bags themselves were in mint condition. For the campout, I didn't bother with the cover, thinking I wouldn't need it inside our tent. During the night, the temperatures dropped to below zero and it began snowing. When I awoke in the morning, my bag was frosted over from exhaled water vapor, I assume. No matter. The bags worked perfectly and my son earned both a "snow" and "zero-degree" coup. (From all the hooping and hollering, this is evidently a big deal.) I've got another son in Cub Scouts with two more years to go before he crosses over. Will I buy again? You betcha! A fourth, for my wife, so she can enjoy these winter campouts? Fat chance!

It works
After wasting six days with a plumber who couldn't seem to figure out what was wrong, I bought this kit and replaced everything myself. Haven't had any problems since.

Pulled the old, busted one off. Attached this new one. Snapped in place. No problems. (2010 Nissan Cube)
