The best Windows Mobile experience yet!
I love the phone overall, it's quick and has had hardly any problems for the last 12 hours I have played with it. The only hiccup I have had with it is not the phone's fault but rather my computers. It took me a while to get Windows Mobile Device Center to recognize the phone, but with a update it was flawless. The animated weather background is pretty eye candy but also very useful! The home screen has a very nice design with HTC's Sense. With the 1GHZ processor everything runs smoothly, I have experienced zero lag or crash. The WVGA display with the 4.3" screen gives you a lot of room for your fingers and the on-screen keyboard (I love the Swype keyboard included!). The camera is probably my only disappointment, it is average, but then again it is only 5MP and that seems like a century ago since I had used a 5MP digital camera, but for outdoor pictures it marvels in! Indoors even with flash not so much, it has a yellow tint in the pictures which makes the pictures look disgusting though they are clear! I know a lot of people dislike Windows Mobile phones and would rather use Android or the iPhone, I once was one of those people because my previous WinMo phones had severe issues, but with the phones speed and just overall interface it's almost like not using WinMo. I am a fan now! The HD2 makes the experience come to life. I love the social integrations with Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. I am a big Twitter user so the Twitter comes in plenty of handy, with being able to update the status from the tab! Facebook's integration is REALLY useful for contacts, it saves you time from taking pictures of your friends and assigning them to contacts, if your like me and just about all of your friends are on Facebook, this will save you a lot of time. Once the Facebook account is linked to a specific contact it will then download the profile picture and even a little more information! As well it will give you a link to your friends online albums on Facebook right from the contact card. Lastly, it will even show you your friends latest Facebook update on the Updates/Events tab in your friends contact card. As far as YouTube goes that is self explanatory, it allows you to upload videos directly from the phone to your YouTube channel. I know I didn't cover EVERYTHING, but this was the most mentionable and most important to me as I am not a business person and do not do the whole exchange thing, etc. All and all I would recommend this phone to anyone that wants a great Windows Mobile 6.5 experience with HTC's flare!
