Really Nice For The Price!
1 of 1 found this helpful I think it's a very nice lens. The color and contrast are very good. I've gotten lazy shooting with wider lenses with VR. The VR works well on this one, but you still need to try and steady yourself more so than with the wider lenses. The lens is very sharp, to 200mm. It get's a little soft after that, but the photos are still nice. I've shot some landscape and some portraits with it. It works well for both. The bokeh (background blur) looks pretty good, to me. I've been very happy with it. Focus get's a little soft in the corners, but for the price I'm not sure you can beat this lens for cameras without built in focus motors.
I'm not sure what the resolution will be like, after upload, but I've added a photo taken with the lens.

Bulbs burn hot! Be careful around plastic parts!
1 of 1 found this helpful I ordered these bulbs to replace a burnt bulb on a piece of stereo equipment, figuring I might use the rest to light model kits or something along that line. The first bulb I tried works well, and burns brightly, but it is a very hot bulb. It has heat melted a piece of plastic that covers the bulb, on my turntable.
Just letting you all know. Be careful what you use these for.

Instantly my favorite pick.
These became my favorite pick the instant I tried the first one. I love how they feel. The regular delrin picks (Tortex) work well and last longer than celluloid, but I don't much care for how they feel in my hand. I have dry skin, and They tend to move a lot. I feel like I have to grip them harder. The delrin 500, with the added teflon and the more polished feel are easier to hold onto. They just work better for me. This is the second bag of 72 I've ordered. Great product!
