Very inexpensive way to get on 220Mhz
I used the CHIRP software to program this radio. The features and functions are the same as the 2m / 440mhz radio. I understand there will always be doubters wanting one radio to be all things to all people - a handheld radio is just not the best "one-rig-does-it-all". But, if you are looking for something to get on the air for 222Mhz, This is a great way to start. Close-in repeater operation or short-range simplex, these radios will do the job. Battery life is decent. Speaker-Mic accessories are compatible with Kenwood accessories. Receiver audio is loud enough to understand. At the end of the day, More 222Mhz activity is always welcomed. 73!

WGR-101 travel router
Simple and effective travel router for wireless devices. I've used this extensively for when staying at hotels with wired-internet access, or places that have WiFi but poor coverage. Simply plug in power, insert Ethernet cable and you're on! This item would also be an effective home router assuming *all* of the devices are wireless.
