Great Gameplay and Graphics, A must have for Gladiator fans all around!
I had just bought my PSP and was looking on Ebay for some cheap deal game grabs just for pure entertainment.
I picked this one up at a decent price thinking "well if it sucks i didn't drop a ton of money on it" haha
After receiving the game I was introduced to an addictive little RPG/Live Combat game.
I started off playing as this butch muscular gladiator with one eye and no sense of what the hell I was doing. The training levels were excellent for getting you into the game. Making you do things 3 times or more so that you really got the Idea of how to fight in the arena.
The Story itself is not super evolving, you kinda just fly around place to place trying to please various emperors bloodlusts and steal the hearts of queens. Your main goal is to pay back your debt to your "Slave Master" and earn your freedom... Very (Russel Crowe)
The combat system is beautiful! Smash Bash and Slice! Blood Guts And Gore... Even leaving Cut wounds and blood decals on your foes as you constantly ravage them in the harsh dusty Arena. You have various attack options and skills you can set for special moves. You can choose to fight with your fists, Sword and Shield, Duel Wield or any combo you can think of. You knock off the other fighters Gear while hitting them and get to keep it after the battle.
There are hundreds of different gladiators and classes of troops to fight, along with a long list of weapons and armor to collect and customize along the way.
The graphics are Excellent for a PSP... (in my opinion) For such a small system the really pulled out the details of the characters and the landscapes. Its really quite beautiful if you stop slashing for a second and look around haha.
After you beat the game you can continue to slay people and upgrade your guys armor and weapons... I got a good 60 hours out of the campaign but you can replay it a hundred different ways and still have a different style by the end.

Looks Nice, Great Image Quality
Great TV for a great price, only issue I have is light bleed on the corners but only noticable in very dark scenes or shows with letterbox. All in all very happy with this cant believe how thin it is haha

its got about 9 cases each consisting of about 13-23 mins each.
You get to see the full cases without any cuts or commercial editing which is pretty awesome.
For what I paid it was totally worth it!
