I paint in oils and also acrylics, and specialize in landscapes and space art. Favorite drawing media are graphite pencil on bristol board and also charcoal pencil on toned paper. I often paint on hardboard panel that is primed with several layers of gesso, with wet sanding in between coats for a nice eggshell finish that is great for detail and smooth blends. I also sometimes paint on canvas and canvas panel.

I have plans to start creating aviation art as well, and am currently working on a pencil drawing of a Spitfire, Britain's savior of the sky during World War II.
