Glad I did this
Had weaver mount on my Savage 340, those current Weaver mounts put the scope slightly to the right of center bore line. The regular mount put the scope too close for my eye relief, the long one was ok but still “over past center right” thought I’d try this one, and I’m glad I did! It has much more adjustability, fits perfectly above bore line. And takes regular weaver style scope rings (included).. You may need to relieve a little more wood on the stock, I took a small Dremel tool and extended the slot already there about 1/4 in in rear and slightly angled the front to match the front mount angle. It took a couple of min. Then treated the “fresh” wood to a couple of coats of Tounge oil to seal. My first time doing any stock work. Very very happy I put this on, by the way it puts your scope slightly higher, now I can see my open sights too..Love this mount...

Needs adjusting took to work right
Carb. Works OK if you keep it on 1/2 choke. If you turn choke off, engine dies. It needs a carb adjusting tool to adjust the mixture, I had to order one as there is no way to adjust it otherwise. I hope it will solve the problem as it is unusable at present.
