Kodak EasyShare Z710 7.1 Megapixel
I love this camera! I had a compact point & shoot camera, and if it is a compact camera your looking for, this probably isn't going to be your dream camera. Its not huge, but you can do alot with it. I used to have a cannon rebel slr camera and really liked using all of the filers and different lenses, and you can use all of those same filters and close up, macro, wide angle lenses with this camera too! so you can have most of the options of a genuine digital slr, but without the hefty price tag to go along with it. All you need to do is buy the lense adaptor, which ranges anywhere from 6.00 to about 10.00 and you can have a pretty nice set up for your camera. You don't need to but the expensive kits either, just make sure that any filters, etc are 52mm or bigger and if they are bigger, buy yourself a step down ring so that you can get the correct fit on your camera. I was REALLY impressed with the quality of the close up shots after I bought the macro lens- I can take a picture of a tiny ant and look like a professional photographer took the picture....and that macro lens cost me under $25.00!!! You can't beat that! For someone that doesn't have a million dollars to spend and doesn't need a camera that fits in there pocket, this just might be the camera for you!!! Another perk is that you can buy old or used filters for just a few dollars and have a lot of fun experimenting with what they do to your pics! Photoshop programs are nice, but they don't hold a candle to the cheap set up you can get for this camera for a few extra dollars!

TOO HUMAN: Good game, but has a few issues...
Let me start by saying that I can be a pretty harsh critic when it comes to games. When I read the description of the game and watched the preview, it looked like it was going to be a fantastic game... For people that are looking to kill some time, I think you'll enjoy the game, but if you are looking for the next game that you'll be addicted to playing, nonstop for the next few weeks, I think that you should keep looking. The game has alot of potential, but it is still a little rough around the edges. Pros: The game has great graphics (even though some of the scenes can be really, really long, and also after you die, etc). Another thing that I did like was that even after you defeat the game, it is not over. You can use the same character you just beat the game with to replay the game at your current level with your current equipment. The replay value is pretty good. Ther story line is pretty good too. If you are interested in Mythology, you'll probably like the game. Cons: When you shoot at enemies, the guns do practically no damage. It seems like the game has problems detecting and properly gauging contact/damage during combat & fighting. The Automatic Aiming System also has poor aiming capabilities. If you end up getting frustrated with the Automatic Aiming & try to aim manually, the camera angle usually makes it impossible to aim accurately. If your interested enough to buy it, try renting it 1st if at all possible. If you can't rent it, I would strongly recommend downloading the free demo on Xbox Live and trying it a few times to get the hang of the combat controls. If you like demo, you will like the game. The description makes it sound like an ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE Game, but the game designers have a little work to do... If your SUPER Picky like me, I would wait for the next one to come out & hopefully they will have fixed some of the issues that should have been fixed before releasing this one. I think that the next game that follows this one will be phenominal- if they can fix the issues with Too Human.

Cannon Rebel II
I got this camera as a gift in 2005 for Valentines Day and I couldn't have been happier. I had very little experience with SLR Cameras....(watching my mom snap pics when I was younger...) so this was really fun learning. I ended up taking a course at the local college, which really helped to lear all of the manual options. This is a great starter camera, and it really helped me develope my photography skills and showed me another way to express myself creativly. When We first bought it, we (my boyfriend) paid $295.00 for the camera and almost another $100.00 for a 18-55mm lens and some other accessories.....now, this would cost alot less, so always buy used. I would LOVE to update to the Digital SLR version of this, but I can't afford it right now. If someone is looking to upgrade to digital, look at expresscameras.com. I HAVE NEVER purchased anything from them, so it is just a guide to check out prices for digital slr's. If you are considering this camera for a early teen, I would wait until they're a little older- 16-17 yrs. You can get all the special effects lens additions for pretty cheap online....it is also nice to use e6 slide film, which you view using an overhead projector....you can get a pretty nice used projector on ebay for about 20.oo which includes s/h! its a nice hobby, but the film can get a little pricey when you have to add the developing costs in as well. it is fun, but it is starting to feel like "dead technology" when compared to the digital version. If you are looking for a cheap, short term hobby, pick something else.....if this is something that you want to take up to snap a few quick pics here and there, buy a digital camera....
