Perfect guide for the collector on the go.

This illustrated directory really was a nice edition to reference material that I use in the hobby. The guide uses a blend of artwork along with detailed photographs of artifacts for both the Union and Confederate armies. It is designed to be a “quick” reference guide, and you are able to page to what you need to find with little or no trouble. I’ve used it mostly for research into some of the basic weapons and equipment used during the civil war. It has been especially helpful in identifying swords and sabers. I own several other reference guides with much more information and data, but this one is next to me at all times.
