It's moderate but not perfect.
1 of 2 found this helpful It's worth it for its purpose but it give the gun a bigger deal and depending on how you would prefer your gun thick or slim it as a little extra width to the handle so you might want to test out a few guns at a local shop that might have similar to test the feel because it dose make a big difference. But it changes the whole look as well kinda more coller and realistic like a bad ass gun. Especially if you modify your 1911. But the only problem I did have was the side flaps were not that we'll made or just a bad molding but the flaps don't fit perfect and have to be adjusted and fit to be even and even after that you might have to cut the excess rubber hanging out from under the side panels and even than it still dose not sit flush but I have my grips even up with each other so it dose not make a huge difference but it fits it's purpose giving it grip.
