Thick enough to protect your feet, thin enough to work the shifter. A great value.
These motorcycle shoes are very good for the price. The thick leather construction serves to protect your feet and ankles in a crash and stay on no matter how hard you try and swing it off. The insoles are reasonably comfortable, and there are no noticeable creases that dig into my feet.
One major problem is there are no treads on the soles, making them unconditionally slippery on loose or icy roads. Wet dirt or gravel will stick to the soles, which will make you slip even on perfect pavement, which is something to keep in mind when you put your foot down at a stop.

Took some time to assemble, but it was worth it.
The protective plastic that covers both sides of all case pieces are very difficult to get off. The big heatsink arrived bent, but I was able to straighten it with a huge flathead screwdriver. One of the nuts for the fan were the wrong size/threading, so I wasn't able to screw in all four fan screws, but truth be told you only need two. The fan header is not spaced correctly for the pins on the raspberry pi, so the pins bend slightly towards each other. The fan is quiet and is pretty powerful, though some may find it loud if they use it at home. The case tabs that holds the sides together are quite fragile; I managed to break one off, so now the case easily becomes undone. Nothing glue couldn't fix, but it was an inconvenience. There are two small heatsinks and one big one, assuming you put the big one on the CPU, the GPU will have to settle for a smaller heatsink, which is at least better than nothing. There is a cutout on the bottom for the GPU heatsink, but it will obviously have to be passively cooled since it is on the opposite side of the board. There are also screw holes on the bottom of the case, but I didn't find screws in the box, though I think there is no need to screw the board down to the case. The package also includes a nice carrying pouch, though I find it superfluous since I don't think I'll be bringing my pi everywhere I go, but your mileage may vary. Cutouts for the GPIO pins, camera ribbon cable, and touchscreen cable are present. The case is cut so that it elevates itself off the surface slightly but enough so that the GPU heatsink does not scrape the surface on which the pi sits on. In conclusion, this is a steal and you should definitely buy one if you own a raspberry pi 3, since they get toasty pretty easily. Just be careful assembling it and hope you get all four nuts in the correct threading.
