First Pasta Roller
Although I have no other pasta roller to compare this to, I'm very happy with this item. It has many settings to roll the pasta through to achieve that very thin quality. The cutters work well with pasta when it is dry enough - if you try to run moist pasta through it just becomes a tangled blob. This does need to be clamped to the counter for it to function well - I tried to take a shortcut and not clamp it down, but I had a lot of tipping and movement. The machine is well made, but it simply isn't heavy enough not to move when rolling the dough unless it is clamped.
