Fun Game for the family
Really gets everyone into it. If you have kids, it may be a little difficult for the yourger ones, in which case you can put there intrumets on bigginer or something like that. Gets boring after a while on that level, but the younger ones never seem to mind.

Old school fun
If you've grown up with the likes of anything beyond a PS2, your going to notice the graphics aren't the greatest right away, however, the fun factor is still present IMO. Take that with a grain of salt though, as I come from the Atari, Nintendo, Sega era so I may be a little more accepting of obviously inferior graphics. The trick to the Wii in my opinion is getting the right game. Mario cart for this honestly isn't that exciting, but the sega Sonic racer (can't remember exact title) was much more appealing so far as graphics and overall gameplay is concerned. It's no Xbox, but there's still plenty of fun in these older gaming platforms.
