Xbox the greatest console ever!
Well when I was growing up I the NES was just becoming a thing of greatness, I played it and then the SNES, after that I grew up and never really played console games again, played computer games a bunch but that was it. The xbox came out and the PS2 and I thought they looked nice and I thought about getting one or the other and seeing what they were really like but I never did until last year after that had come down to $150. I mainly did it to play halo because I had always heard it was a killer game. If you have never played it let me tell you, it really is! Probably the the one main thing that makes the xbox better than the PS2 is the fact that you can really mod it, I mean put on a whole other dashboard, make it into a media center, all sorts of great stuff......Hell you can ever get adaptors for USB things, install Linux on it and turn it into a computer... It is just an amazing console, one that has made me sell my gaming computer, one that has me reading everything I can about the xbox360 and impatiently waiting for it. I truly love everything about the xbox and don't think there is anything I would change.......Even though I will be getting an 360, I will be keeping one of my xboxes (I have three) that I have modded into pretty much a media hub. My xbox is more that just a console it is a media center.

Great Camera for the price!
My two year old digital camera died on my recently and so I went in search of a good solid replacement....Enter the S60, I was able to get it brand new right here on eBay for about 250 dollars shipped which was about 70 dollars cheaper than anywhere online at the time. Canon’s DIGIC image processor is simply amazing it can run at 2 frames per second (High speed) continuous shooting speed, and supports 9-point AiAF for fast, accurate focusing even when subjects are not centred...which is great. Shutter speed spans from 15 sec to 1/2000 sec. The auto focus settings are also very accurate adjusting the shutter speed and flash on it's own. So far I have only had one picture that was dark and none so far that were out of focus, I even tried taking a picture from my moving car and it was amazingly able to take it in focus. Here is a link to the picture: http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/6194/pic0ap.jpg Besides taking pictures it can film videos as well, you can film up to 3 minutes and the quality is nothing to frown at. It also has a timer for 2 or 10 seconds and it beeps down so you know how much time you have left. It uses Compact Flash Type I or II cards, which IMO are the best kind because of their price. I was able to pickup a1GB card for 35 dollars. It does come with a 32mb card just to get you started. The 3.6x optical zoom is also very good...As far as picture sizes it can do quite a few: • 2592 x 1944 • 2048 x 1536 • 1600 x 1200 • 1024 x 768 • 640 x 480 One more cool thing is there is a water proof case you can get for it so you can take it under water and take pictures, now that is cool! Unless you are a professional photographer and need maybe some higher resolutions, or faster shutter speeds. I don't see why anyone would need something more expensive. It is 100 times better than my Nikon that died and Canon lives up to their high Camera standards with the S60 in my opinion.

iPod 30gb 5th gen keeps with the trend of great players
First off I want to say I love the Black, it is great so much better than the white IMO, I know people have complained about how the black shows scratches but I would rather take the sexiness of the black over the ability to possible hide some scratches and since I am going to be getting a skin as soon as I can so I know I will not be having too many scratches. Good place for a screen protector is http://www.theinvisibleshield.com/ It does come with this little pouch thing, it reminds me of a moccasin, and it fits the ipod like a glove, it does a great job even if you don't want to spend money on a skin. It is also much thinner than a 3rd gen, which is what I had before, so my old skin does not work. I started it up changed my settings to where I like them, and plugged it into my computer. Moving my songs over took longer than I thought it would granted I have a lot of songs 3000+ but I also think it might be the USB connection, even though firewire 400 and USB2 are about the same firewire with it's higher sustained rate is better for huge file systems or thats always been my thought. Anyway after moving my music and some videos and I plugged it into my TV to see just how well I could play the video. Overall it was pretty good, I only had trailers sitting around that were in the right format but if you have quicktime pro or iMovie HD or final cut, you can convert pretty much any video but it might take some time for a full movie. One bad thing I found out right off and I was hopping would not be the case is this is a totally redesigned ipod and as such almost all past generation accessories will not work, itrip, italk, iremote, all do not work because they need the two plugs on the top where this new ipod only has one on the right side. Something that does work is my wall charger, even though it is firewire with a plug it still charges which is nice. Oh yeah the Belkin Tunecast II FM transmitter works because it only has one plug. For music I got about 12.4 hours with the volume at 75% maybe a little higher, I bet I could get more if I lowered the volume but I was on a plane and stuff when testing it so I had to keep it up that high. I will be testing it in everyday conditions with the volume around 50%....For video it lasted 140 minutes which is about 2.2 hours the volume was as high as it could get because I was on a plane. I tried it for about 5 of those minutes in just a regular room with people and I only had to have the volume at 45%. Pretty sure if you kept it at that you might be able to get 3 hours. One thing I do miss from my 3rd gen is the illuminated buttons.....maybe Apple could make the scroll wheel illuminated or something for the 6th Gen. Still it is an amazing little device and I love it. I took some pictures if anyone wants to see click on the links below: http://www.fileh.com/toasty/iPod/IMG_0063.JPG http://www.fileh.com/toasty/iPod/IMG_0064.JPG http://www.fileh.com/toasty/iPod/IMG_0065.JPG http://www.fileh.com/toasty/iPod/IMG_0066.JPG http://www.fileh.com/toasty/iPod/IMG_0072.JPG http://www.fileh.com/toasty/iPod/IMG_0076.JPG http://www.fileh.com/toasty/iPod/IMG_0077.JPG http://www.fileh.com/toasty/iPod/IMG_0080.JPG http://www.fileh.com/toasty/iPod/IMG_0088.JPG http://www.fileh.com/toasty/iPod/IMG_0089.JPG http://www.fileh.com/toasty/iPod/IMG_0085.JPG http://www.fileh.com/toasty/iPod/IMG_0083.JPG http://www.fileh.com/toasty/iPod/IMG_0087.JPG
