Good for a High MP Point-n-Shoot; Horrid for anything professional and more
I bought this camera at Walgreens in Black Earth, WI. My main thought was for a camera with a higher Mega Pixel count for higher resolution photos when I want to take digital images to maybe later sell prints of and have generally high quality imagery. It was to tandem with my Toshiba PDR-3300 Camera. As size, weight, and value go… It is small and lightweight for those who want something that fits into your pocket and includes a wrist strap which would be good for someone with smaller hands. Mine do not fit into the strap. The value is average… I paid about $30-$50 for it figuring higher MP count and extra digital zoon where main factors for it’s price. Sadly I’ve come to find that this camera also has no manual settings other than the image size; mode setting ( day, night, etc); Anti-Shake; and a setup guide for the date, time, ISO, and LCD Brightness. While taking photos became immediately obvious that the camera’s lack of settings made getting a controllable/repeatable product was impossible. If your in a sunny day with the camera facing away from the sun and no trees over or around what your shooting – your okay and will get a very nice photo; All other times you will find your images much lighter or darker than wanted. The images as you increase image size will turn most detailed areas into a more pixilated blur and after 7M will turn automatically into the widescreen format. Focus is solely the discretion of the camera itself with no manual options. This camera will also skew subjects moving at a faster rate of speed beyond a walk. This is a great point-and-shoot camera for younger photographers, those who are taking family/vacation images, and the general public who are not doing more than taking and saving the image on their computer. This is NOT a camera for those more involved in photography, wishing to create product images, or images for work including modeling or Landscape. The battery life and quick photo upload without need of "fluff-ware" is of the few advantages I personally have found for this item.

Wireless-B Broadband Router by LinkSys/Cisco Systems
I purchased my router about 2 years ago, really breaking it in now though. Ive found that it has a very easy and basic interface with advanced options for those who know more about networks, I myself dont however. Security in a Apartment complex such as I am in with many wireless networks showing up when you plug in a wireless card told me that theres alot of possible ways to have people sneek onto your connection if they wanted and so the MAC Access filter this router has was a must and again, very easy to set-up! Since getting it, Ive purchased the Cable Modem by LinkSys and suggest it to people I know who might be needing a router without needing a Bachelors Degree to install it. Deffinently a good buy if you need a router and works with seemingly ANY operating system that is mainstream. Ive had it connected to Windows 98 up to Windows XP Pro! All with great results. I highly recommend LinkSys if you plan to network a small buisness, office, or home.
