Not a good case for the type of camera

I purchased this case but it did not fit my camera correctly. The picture that you see is only the front of the case. The back of the case has to be snapped on while in storage and then snaps back off when you use your camera. I tried using my camera with the back of the case on while it just hangs in the back but it was in the way. This front piece that you see in the picture does not fit all the way around so there is no way to actually keep it on while in use. I can see the point of it not covering the back, since my camera has a smart phone screen which is the whole back of the camera. If I was just going to use this to store my camera then it would be ok but I wanted protection when I used it also.
