Excellent choice except for volume button placement.
Very nice specs and I like the tablet size. I notice it is not as lightening fast as it first was now with a lot of apps. The only real negative is the volume bars. Almost impossible to increase or decrease without turning on its side to actually see the buttons. Why they are so tiny and in a recess where you can't feel them without looking is beyond me. Synched with my Android phone flawlessly. I would buy it again hands down. A bit heavier than my Sony Reader but I find the backlighting comfortable as long as you don't keep the background hospital white. I use the Nook app.... excellent. Wish there were more publications on the apps but right now there are not many of them, but I am happy with what is there and there are more every week. No knocks to the ipad but I am an IT guy and the specs speak!
