One of the best cameras currently available!
This camera body is a dream. The focusing system is incredible. The images are so crisp. I waited a long time to get one and I'm incredibly happy I finally got a 7D. The images are so much better than the older cameras! Get one!

Great Lens
L glass is the Mecca of Canon photography. This lens is amazing, quiet, quick,and the images defy your skills. If you can somehow afford to buy L glass, you'll never regret it. I'm using it primarily for action sports photography. The tracking and focusing is without fault. You really gotta be an idiot to not be able to create amazing images with this lens. And unless you make a living with your cameras, skip the IS version of the lens. I am a part- time photographer. I shoot races and sports and some models and headshot work. IS adds several hundred dollars to the cost of the lens, makes the lens a lot heavier and is really probably something that the average user can do without. So again, unless you're an aspiring professional commercial photographer, you can skip the IS version of this lens and get this version and you'll be very pleased.

Excellent low cost strobes for mobile event use.
These are fantastic strobes that are heavy duty and can take a beating and still wake up the next day for the next shoot. I tend to modify them for longer battery life and use them off camera. The only downside is that they are difficult to repair. But they typically last a few years and tens of thousands of flashes.
