Gratifying, in-depth look at the players before the final goodbye
It's taken 13 books, but Rachel is finally learning that just because all the supernatural factions are constantly making her responsible for the world's insurmountable problems, doesn't mean that she is actually to blame for them. While her grief and her compassion have caused her to bear that burden, in Witch With No Name, her friends and allies finally take some of that burden off of her. This is challenging because being able to survive a relationship with Rachel requires the ability to change and evolve...generally not a supernatural trait. I love that we learn so much more about the different players before we say goodbye. Harrison takes us deeper into the motivations of friend and foe alike, and we discover that even the seemingly most unfeeling character has deep, aching emotional needs, needs that have been unfulfilled because they have been living an ancient past that is not even of their own making. The conclusion is nothing short of world altering. My only complaint is with the portrayal of Ivy and Nina. Their self-involved emotional neediness keeps them flat, and I found myself disliking them immensely. Rachel's constant lament about her need to save Ivy consequently didn't ring true for me. Also, Rachel begins the book with chronic low self esteem relationship issues that, thankfully, end when villains go on the attack.

A clever and fun mystery that constantly surprised me
"The Question of the Missing Head" was everything I expected as a long time fan of E.J. Copperman: A tightly plotted, clever, and fun mystery. But it is also unique with it's main character, Samuel Hoenig, a young man with Asperger's. I loved that Sam is a fully functioning adult with his own successful business, and that he allows his personality traits to come through without apology. Rather than a detective business where he solves crimes, he has Questions Answered, where he can solve a crime only if it is phrased properly (a.k.a. as a question). I learned a lot and laughed a lot with this book...and I was constantly surprised by its unusual perspective.

No more problems with finding light bulb!
I've had this for a few months and it works great. I just switched to LED bulbs and couldn't find the intermediate base bulbs, so this was a great find.
