Horrible image quality, cheap plastic holder and filters (holders may be 3D printed). But, honestly, what was I thinking for less than $20?

Noticeable improvement over the original version
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought this as a replacement for my original 70-300 which stopped focusing and developed some lens fungus after many, many years of faithful service. Thought this would just be a replacement but it's a noticeable improvement - much, much faster and incredibly quiet autofocus and the image stabilization is good for more stops than the old version (can't say how many, exactly, but it's just better). A great grab and go lens with excellent image quality and great performance. Very happy.

Excellent purchase.
After a fair bit of research and a lot of back & forth between different systems (Lee, Format Hi-Tech, Wine Country...), I purchased the Haida M10, along with one of their Red Diamond ND3.0 (10-stop) 100x150mm filters and a drop-in circular polarizer / ND1.8 (6-stop) filter (in addition to the CP that comes with the holder). Of course, this system will work with any 2mm rectangular filters you already have (worked perfectly with my SinghRay graded filters).
In short, everything is excellent and the system is, for me, a huge improvement over the Cokin Z-Pro that I had used a few times in the past. Build quality is excellent (anodized aluminum where it counts, durable plastic elsewhere to keep things light). Comes with a nice case to keep everything handy, too. Once the adapter ring is on your lens, it takes just a few tries to get the right angle/approach to clip the holder on & off (but just a few), and the drop-in filter system is very slick.
I'm not a pro, but rather an 'enthusiast' with more gear than talent or time (but looking for to changing that someday), and there are some excellent video reviews of the Haida system and filters out there, so I'll just say this: The pictures below are from my very first long exposure shoot (the first one is from my phone, of my camera taking a shot; the second one is the shot it took). I'm very happy with the results (and the community at GuruShots seemed to like the picture, too) and highly recommend this system. Durable, easy to use, flexible, and really amazing optical quality in the Haida filters.
