Best iPod So Far
5 of 5 found this helpful This is a great way to take your music with you. I have one in black and it has gone everywhere. I haven't had any problems with it. I like the big color screen and the long battery life. Over the summer I took a trip to Las Vegas from Texas. Flight time with layover was 7 hours and with a fully charged battery it kept playing the whole time and could have gone a few hours more. The recharge time on this thing is quick too. I haven't timed it but it is more than twice as fast as my 4th gen iPod. You will want to upgrade the earbuds it comes with they are okay, but you don't get the full range of sound. The down side is that the front plate of the iPod Video is very easy to scratch. I have kept it in a leather case and taken great care not to scratch it but it still shows plenty of scratching.

The Best Utility Pod
3 of 3 found this helpful This version of the iPod is a great buy used if you just want an iTunes compatable hi-capacity digital music player. For less than what a 2GB Nano will cost you you can get 10X the storage space but you have to deal with a black and white screen, larger unit, and slow recharg times. The battery life on this iPod is decent about 5 hours, but it can take about two hours for a full recharge (the 30GB iPod Video only takes about 45 minutes). I also keep it around as a "utility" pod. I use it when cutting the grass, working in the yard or tool shed and going to the track, basicly I use it in places where my iPod Video would be more likely to be damaged.

Perfect Grap & Go Lens
14 of 14 found this helpful I picked up this lense as a replacement to a Tamron 28-80MM zoom. The first thing that I noticed was that this thing is bigger than it looks, the second thing that I noticed is that it is quite heavy, and those are my only two complaints. This lense has seen quite a bit of action since I bought it. I use it for travel its 28-135MM range will cover most situations you will encounter in general travel photography if you don't want to haul around an additonal lens. Image Stabaiztion is nice, and I have gotten some use out of it, but I have also learned to to rely on it since it can only comphensate by about three stops. The glass on this is not "L" quality, but it very close, this lens is an affordable alternative to the "L" series if you are a a budget.
