I really like the game, it is really easy to use and very motivated. Highly recommend for those who wants to do some exercise but don't have the time to go to the gym.

We are both 73 years old and trying to keep ourselves healthier. This is not for us. There is no way that we could find to start slower and get better. My husband even signed in and said he was 83 hoping the game would lower the spee d ad expectations--no luck, it just went as fast as before. This game may be ok for someone who is already in good shape. It is not for older or less athletic people

The Jenny McCarthy "Your Shape" workout disk for Wii has a good fitness pre-test and good workout in general, but something I did NOT like about it was that even when you DO have your arms or knees lifted highly, she tells you to lift them higher. May have been due to the lighting or camera settings, but I'm not sure. I also think in my own personal case, I will use a different workout until I can get in better shape and stamina to be able to keep up with "Jenny". I didn't like feeling like I was getting yelled at for not putting enough effort into my workout. I expect this feature was meant to be encouraging and to keep you on track, but overall, I don't think I'm ready for the intensity! I will, however, try it again, when I'm more in shape for "Your Shape"!
Your shape allows you to have profiles of four different people. After completing a profile you're able to start working out. Before each workout you can click on a body part and choose what you would like to do: burn, strength, or tone. I only wish you could save the information so you don't have to go through this process before each workout. I feel it gives me a good workout. It reviews a set of exercise I do, and then decides what to do for the next set of future exercises. During the workout you are told to "follow me". You're scaned with the camera, and if your legs or arms are not in the correct form you are told to check out arms/legs. You are not told how to correct them, but looking at yourself on the screen and comparing yourself with Jenny will help you to figure it out. My teen daughter finds it a little annoying to hear repeatedly "check your arms...", but if you put it on mute, problem solved. It also commends you when you are doing well. All in all I like the workouts, and I would reccomend it to a friend.Read full review
I haven't exercised in a long time,I dance but don't exercise used the cd twice threw out my knee doing jumping jacks and lunges, guess at 67 I should have got a easier cd. But I love it and am using the exercises that don't enclude using my legs so much. Can't wait to get to use it all again. Its a great start up exercise cd for a beginner like me just don't over do it like I did. The only thing I would change is make me larger in picture hard to tell what I am doing. And next time let jenny say different things. Gets crazy hearing her say the same ole stuff. It definitely keeps you moving and lot of tutorials I like that. I bought this tape to get me back in shape for dancing this winter. Didn't realize how heavy my butt got in the last 3 months of inactivity. But hopefully soon I will be at it again along with my wii fit and dance revolution cd. Hope everyone enjoys this cd as much as I do. But the seasoned excerciser will most likely not like it but a beginner should love it.Read full review
