I am a lawyer. If you produce documents for a living, you will never use a laser printer again after one hour with this amazing machine. The finest laser printed document looks like trash next to this solid color printer's output. Furthermore, there is no toner to make the pages stick together and there is no heat. The pages come out flat (uncurled), easy to stack and cold. It is archival in that water does not make the ink run like an inkjet. Cost per page is lower than even the cheapest color laser. The paper path is so short, it is virtually impossible to jam this machine. You can load ink blocks before the current block is "out" so there you have a never ending consistent output. Instead of four toner cartridges the size of a bankers box, four ink blocks fit in my pocket -- and last longer than the toner. The "toner cabinet" in the supply room is unnecessary because the printer holds one set of blocks in use together with another three sets of blocks (12 spare blocks) in the "magazine" ready to shoot. Super fast. The complaints you will read about the slow warm up are from people that did not read the directions which clearly state that you do not turn the machine off except to move it. You, instead press the power save button before you leave for the day -- and only at the end of the day. It uses less power than laser anyway because there is no fuser. The only thing Xerox could do to make it better is offer one that can print 11 by 17. I would buy it (an 11 by 17 model) at just about any price.Read full review

Bad part - it's heavy, so place it and leave it. If you wish to laminate the page you must use a paper jacket or the heat will affect the quality. It can be done - just use proper paper jacket to shield the excessive heat. The print quality is AMAZING magazine quality, photos need to be tweaked to get them to look less *cartoon* like, but for everything else... I LOVE IT! Simple to maintain, reload with solid ink block, cleaning tray, the rare stuck page.... as I said - a most worthy investment, but make sure you can live with the results of WHAT you typically print, then just enjoy that deliverable!

Have used these Xerox Coloqube printers for year. Generally work quite well. Only problem, when you get an upgraded version, you have to go looking in the bottomless pit of Xerox's web system attempting to figure out how to download the appropriate drivers and associated control software. Good luck.

This is the best color print quality on the planet. Nothing comes close to it today. It's office printer, however your photos will look good too. It's not exactly a photo printer, but close. It prints well on any paper. It's sad that Xerox stopped manufacturing solid ink printers. There is no cartridges', waste, toner cartridge etc. Just small blocks of solid ink which are getting melted during printing process. I love these printers for the print quality and speed.
