I loved this book when I bought it for my son when he was a baby, over 10 years ago. It is a fun story and he enjoyed lifting the flaps over and over, until he tore them off and I had to tape/staple them back on. The way the book appears today is quite different, however. The original book features a fuzzy cat and shiny bats, etc. on EVERY page, whereas the new version only has the fun stuff at the end. Thankfully, my sister still had my son's original, tape-stapled version, so we are just going to use that one. I don't like that they changed it. But the story is still good and the flap-lifting is still fun, especially for those who never saw the original. Thanks.

This little book is another sweet edition in the "Where is Baby's" series. Even though it has a seasonal theme, the young children for whom it's written will love reading it again and again year round. The illustrations are bright and colorful and the flip up components add extra fun to reading about Baby's search for the pumpkin. A great book for both child and reader.

One of the "lift flaps" was missing. Otherwise Supercute book!

I now have five of Karen Katz' books. My grandchildren like them a lot, however, I was disappointed that there isn't anything really new about this book. I had expected with a holiday theme, that the hiding places would be more original, however, they are very similar to the ones I already have. I definitely recommend getting some of them for very young children but I would definitely want to see the interior of the book before purchasing any more from her to ensure there is something different and more stimulating for them.
Very good book.
