After wearing a Samsung Gear S3 Frontier for 3 years, I upgraded to a Galaxy Watch 42mm Midnight Black smart watch. This watch is extremely close to the same size and truly about the same style. I decided I wanted another watch after almost 4 years of having a smart watch, just because I love watches so much. When I saw this one, not only was it VICTORINOX Swiss Army...but it is just stunning to look at. The flashlight on a standard watch is out of the ordinary and a welcome addition - not sure how much I'll use it, but the thought of it being there is fantastic - another awesome thing is, I can use it ALL I WANT due to it has a separate battery for the lights from the actual timekeeping...meaning if the battery goes out (it will let me know that too!!) my time will still be intact due to it's own battery. The watch is nicer looking in person than what you see in ANY of the pictures...I actually had half a mind while it was in-route to cancel due to buyers remorse over the cost, but looking and seeing that I may have gotten the least expensive one on the internet AND the moment I laid eyes on it, I am sold and it is ready for me for Christmas - my wife took it away from me as soon as I finished inspecting/playing with it - so technically I picked out my own Christmas gift - lol. For this price, I'd do it all over again (I got this New With Tags/box for $189.00 plus tax - that's unheard of if you've ever shopped these on the internet - the tag on it was $795.00 from Victorinox). I. Got. A. Deal. And am very happy - did I mention I'm excited to use it - Now I have to figure out when to wear IT and when to wear my smartwatch...(which the samsung line of smartwatches is also a really nice set up - this is not a replacement - only a special occasion WANT TO WEAR analog).Read full review

Heavy built nice watch, battery life for the second battery (which runs the lights cr2032) gets the low battery light flashing to soon I think.the watch movement runs on a 359 battery on it own so it will run even if the other battery is used up so that's good. seems to keep great time. It has I believe a 5030 ronda quartz movement, which is good I believe?overall for the right price it a good choice.

Until you get used to it it can be hard to tell he time but when you do you find yourself liking the watch a whole lot more. Being.Victorinox and the suggested retail price in the UK of£799 I expected a better rubber strap (quality) and perhaps a clasp closing- something at least a little.more stylish. The watch itself is exactly as described and having already bought an INOX Voctorinox I had high expectations. They were not quite fulfilled and I feel the strap is lower quality than it should be but overall I like the watch. It's comfortable to wear.

I’ve been eyeballing this watch for a while and couldn’t find one under $500. Got it for $250 and it was a good purchase.
