This is a very sweet book with good ideas for gift giving, recipes, and about 26 color photos. If you're looking for information about starting a gift basket business, this book doesn't touch that topic. The book is strictly about creating gift baskets for giving as gifts on special occasions. Phillips discusses many basket ideas but doesn't have photos of all of them. If you're hoping for wholesale resources, you won't find them here; the materials list is solely retail. If you cook - which I don't - there are recipes included for basket items. That makes for a very personal gift, but you can't sell homemade items in your baskets if you're baking in your home kitchen.
I,m going to be opening my own home based gift basket business in the next year I'm trying to learn all that I can on running the business plus putting gift baskets together,this book was very informative and practical I also got a lot of good ideas to go along with my own ideas. The baskets were basic and fairly inexpensive to put together.I also liked that with each basket they gave you a couple of different price ranges to work with.Whether you going to go into business or would just like to put a gorgeous basket together I highly recommend this book I really liked it a lot.
