On the whole, the book was very useful for understanding torts law. One important caveat is that the author fundamentally misuses statistics and probability in several of the chapters (chapters 16 and 17, I believe). The explanations sections in those chapters should be either be skipped (because the answers are incorrect based on faulty statistical reasoning) or simply be read for the tort concepts.
Great law school study guide! This book really helped me understand the material and definitely helped prepare me more for the exam. The only thing I would have changed would have been buying the book earlier in the semester. The book helped lay out difficult concepts with more thorough explanations and then including examples just added to my understanding.
It's an old book. The author however does mention some of the third restatements(the draft of it at least). Your better off getting a newer version but this will still serve you well.
