Taurus "made in USA" mags for the TCP work great and are the same as the original that come with the pistol. Must make sure they are the ones made in the USA because the same mags are also made in Brazil and carry the same part number(and are usually priced cheaper). Must look at the mag itself to see the "made in USA" stamp as the packaging doesn't show where they are made. There are also other subtle differences such as the number of rounds indicater stampings. Good product & I would buy again.

this magazine just doesn't cut it... I ordered two of these magazines and have no use for them, after figuring out that they are not oem magazines. They are shaped slightly differently at he curve and catch when attempting to load the magazine. You can get around that by simply pressing the magazine drop button as you load it. but, what then happens is you will repeatedly get a jammed firearm or fire one round and have your slide lock back as if you've shot every round, then have to start all over again.

It is a factory produced item so the quality is as you would expect. Fit and finish is very good and the bluing is great. The magazine functioned well as far as loading and subsequent insertion into the pistol. I am very pleased with everything but Taurus' base plate set-up but I replaced the factory one with an after-market plate with the finger extension and it's all good now.

This was a great price for two factory magazines. After having issues with even the good aftermarket magazines I only buy the factory replacements. If you go to Bass Pro you are looking at a minimum of $25 for one off-brand mag so this is quite a steal.
