I am using in my sewing room works great for large flat areas, but not so great on seams or piecing still need to have iron set up and if you dont use it for a few minutes it starts beeping so best to stack up what you need to press and turn it on and press all at once. I have not tried it on clothes yet but I am sure it will do a good job there is a little learning curve as with all new things It kind of reminds me of when I was a kid and ironing on the big old mangle.I bought a stand for it so I can leave it set up all the time so the weight is not important to me.Pressing does not stretch the fabric like ironing can and I am sure I will get a lot of use out of it

I spend alot of money getting my clothes pressed at the cleaners, so i thought i would buy a steam press for myself. I am very please at the crease that it makes! This is a great buy!

I received it quickly. I plugged it in and it took a few short minutes to come up to heat for steam, but works great for fusing interfacings on pieces. This purchase was a good deal.
