I bought it for solo stealth camping and situations where I might not want a fire, but I want a cup of coffee. Lights easily, burns well. Very little smoke, the cutout for feeding it is handy and you will need to feed it as your boiling. I boiled 500ml of water, and it took about 10 minutes. Very little ash, easy cleanup. Overall I'm satisfied for the money. It negates the need for stove fuel, it's light, and it works well. Must have for any survivalist/bushcrafter, might be handy for hikers too.

Spend more than 30 mins trying to get a boil, kept feeding small pieces of wood into this contraption, I own the or all size solo stove and it is flawless in the size as compared to this. Problem with this model is the pieces have to be really small to fit inside. I was in an area where the snow was covering the ground and I uses tree branches, dried end pieces that were small and easily to snap. It burned well but I had to feed it andi T never got hot enough to bring my water to boil, so I ended up drinking luke warm chocolate. I got home and then I used my hobo stove (spirit burner) with one oz of denatured alcohol as fuel, it fill well enough inside this model. Still I think the normal size o e fits my stove much better, I'll be giving this away to my son to play with. Will not use this in the future. Love my regular solo stove much more..😎Read full review

This is a very small unit that allows you to boil a cup/pot of water with on site fuels, and control the disposal of ashes. Roast hot dogs or illuminate your campsite. Nice, and durable.

Love the stove and I also have the cup it fits in to. Only problem with that is the rattle factor so you need to shove something in with it to stop it rattling as you walk. Otherwise it works great and is super light.
