I clean homes, and this is the 2nd.Shark I have bought from eBay.My customers love the way it cleans their wood and carpeted floors.I use the dust-away and motorized pet attachments on almost every home.It does a very thorough job of cleaning in less time because of the powerful suction. This model (755) did not come with a dust-away but I use the one I got with the 795 model I bought last year.It is an awesome cleaner, and much cheaper than a Dyson . Very good ratings on Consumer Reports.

This is a very Cumbersome unit. However it does collect pet hair very well. But I find dragging that canister around so annoying. It isn't that light a unit either. It's not for us older out of shape with full knee replacements people to use every day. Plus you need a place to store all the spare parts. The cord is long but very annoying also. I bought this on ebay because I didn't want to pay full price so I'm not out a lot. It's great for a once a month deep cleaning but daily just too much work involved to use. I'm back to my lighter cordless Dyson for daily jobs. The dusting cover doesn't fit that floor dusting part so that is useless now. If you have carpets great if hardwood floors your stuck using that motorized lighted heavy unit. And stuff Flys around and shoots over the floor instead of going into the darn unit. So then I have to sweep first too. If I'd known all this I'd not have bought the darn thing.Read full review

We have a central vacuum system in our home. The fine powder dirt the Shark is picking up (similiar to baby power) is a testiment to just how well the vacuum works and just how much dirt our central vacuum system is leaving behind. After almost nine years in this home, some of the sections I have vacuumed would have an outsider believe that we have never vacuumed our home. The shiney bright white foam filter was a dirty gray after only one use and have to be removed and cleaned. The only down side to the vacuum is the weight if you have to haul it up and down a two story residence. It is not light in weight at all but glides over the floor with little effort once it is up and running. I would highly recommend this product to anyone needing a great vacuum cleaner.

This is the best vacuum cleaner I have used. Durable, strong suction, easy to empty and maneuver, they are work horses and find them very reliable. Long cords and bright led lights. The only downside is the button that disconnects the hose from the vac needs a lot of thumb pressure, but patience will get it disconnected, you have to try a few times to release it but it varies from vacuum to vacuum and it not a big issue.

So far I'm impressed with this machine. My previous basic eureka model was probably about 10-15 years old so this was a big upgrade on every level. 2-3 times the suction power at half the noise level and a much longer cable capable of multiple room contact on one outlet. I'm also impressed with the innovative and versatile combinations this machine can take to perform so many tasks. Nice features like lights on both the main brush head and the handle (for other attachments) make seeing the filth much easier. On the down side it's only okay on hard floors. Without using one of the small brush upholstery attachments, it couldn't pick up visible dust lining the floor. This particular model doesn't come with the hard floor attachment which may be a good investment to add on. While the caddy works well enough I wish included a spot for the mini motorized brush head, as it can carry the other two accessories, so I have a loos accessory and no the accessory bag was not included. One last thing about the caddy- this isn't a true canister vacuum, which come with extra long hoses that are ruggedized. The hose on this is rather short for that use and I feel while its more rugged than most stand up vacuum hoses, it seems like after a few years of pulling around the canister/caddy, I'd expect it to split- read another reviewer that reported that anyway and I can see why. Still if your mounting the canister on the stick for floors and only using the caddy occasionally when doing alternate jobs (furniture, shades, ect) the caddy is a fine accessory. Though as stated the Hose is on the short side and when mounted on the caddy it exits the canister facing down so you'll probably have to "lift away" the canister and hold it for any jobs above waste level- not fun since this is the heaviest version if the lift away series. One last small minus is the instruction manual isn't too big. It covers all of the basics- just not in any semblance of detail. I.e. It's only 11 pages long and 1/3 of that is English. All and all I'm happy with this vaccum and would recommend it, but I'd also recommend figuring out what your looking to use it for and double checking what's being sold as different model numbers and distributors of used models mix and match the accessories that are included. (I added the under appliance attachment and am satisfied with it.) Google "ultimate shark lift away comparison chart" and one of the first hits is an depth comparison of the dozen or so different lift away models and their included accessories (new).Read full review
