I am 58 yrs and you need to adjust your lip product accordingly to the condition of your lips. Yes, unfortunately as you age you will get those little lines around your mouth. Dark colors are out and you need to be careful not to buy products that will seep into those lines. This is extremely hydrating. Now, I will tell you that the color wears off, but if you apply perhaps a colored lip balm, lipstick, this will help in keeping your lips moist. I have tried this with Becca lip tint (comes in a tube) It is a very subtle stain and does not dry my lips out even if used alone.
