I like the phone well enough - I think it's probably better for me than other newer phones but my last phone was a Nokia 2330. Compared to that phone the Captivate glide has about half the battery life and is twice as large. Compared to a Samsung Edge or iPhone it seems have a longer battery life but I hardly use the thing either. I do like the mechanical qwerty keyboard.

The phone is a great value with no major problems so far, with the exception of the poor battery life. It seems that it will only last me a day, unless I use it a more frequently. In that case it's about 12 hours if I'm lucky. However, that may be just because I bought it used (refurbished) so I might need to actually purchase a new battery, but I'm not positive about that. A very nice android OS & internal memory/RAM, and the QWERTY slide out keyboard is really great if you prefer type-texting. The keyboard is a little flatter than I was hoping but it just takes some getting used to. The back cover is a bit flimsy, so best to get a phone cover for added protection! [I don't know what small form factor means, so I put no.]

I initially bought this phone because of it's sliding QWERTY keyboard, which a lot of people have complained about it being "too flat". Well the keyboard is flat, I admit, but it's still a great keyboard. Once you get used to it, you'll be satisfied with what you bought. Battery life on this handset is decent for an Android phone. It can survive well through a day with general use, but if you keep data on and have everything synced every 15 minutes, it'll probably die right when you'd need it to. The camera on here is really good. It has a lot of features such as effects and a panorama mode. The front camera isn't the best but it's there so that's something, right? Nonetheless, this phone is awesome, and if you're thinking of getting it, try the keyboard out first in a store!!!!!
This is my first Android device. I came from a Blackberry and everything looks so LEFT (I am right handed) hand to me. All in all, I am using it for GoPhone service with AT&T and it functions great for my basic needs of talk, text, and web. I am not a gamer and barley use Facebook however the application is on my phone. I love the Google Speak Now feature for texting and surfing the web. And I love the camera quality, it's definitely A status.
Bought this phone to replace a lost phone. Was amazed at the excellent condition. Have been using this model for over a year now. It's a great phone especially for those who like a physical slider keyboard. It will upgrade to the latest version of Android. Works well, nice design, sharp display, good but not great camera.
