So I bought this book and it does a great job in giving an overview of TPI etc. What it doesn't really do is a good job of explaining what an individual needs to do to install one of these. Kind of a step by step and what each component does etc. I want a practical and realistic guide not theory. It gives schematics but doesn't explain to the laymen what they mean. If I want to enable or disable something what can I do to bypass it instead of reprogramming the chip. That is what I want. Ok book but didn't help me much!
This is an excellent book along with the rest of the "SA DESIGN" books! I recenty put a 350 TPI engine in my 1986 Camaro and ran into a few problems that I could not figure out. I brought my car to two different Chevy dealersships. They could not figure out what was wrong with the car either. So I bought this book! After reading this book for an hour, i had all the information that I need, and after 2 hours of putting my new knowledge to the test I had the car purring like a kitten! I recommend this book or any of these books from "SA DESIGN" for anyone who is doing a difficult project!
I am not all to savy on technical diagrams. But if you are, then I believe this book is for you. Great read for an electrician or machinist. I like the intro about the F-body cars.
