An excellent, delightful and engaging movie except some of the dialogue could not be heard or was so swiftly delivered we had to rewind several times to get what was said. A great children's movie to be enjoyed with their parents, and parents will enjoy this too, except they may start to winder if their hearing is failing! Loved Roxy's outfits! But why would Roxy's mother travel across the country to be a bank teller? Why was that little boy with them...his character could of been developed a bit more, and we just loved him...he was so patient and handled the bullies well....
The Roxy Hunter series of films, as seen on Nickelodeon, is a terrific film for kids, and families alike. The same executive producer of "Zoey 101" did this series also. It's very cute and enjoyable 90 minute film. I watched this movie with my daughter recently and absolutely loved it and so did she. It's one of her favorites for some reason. The film is well written and directed and the cast is just fantastic. The whole concept of the movie is great! If you are unsure about the content, your children will have a wonderful time watching this. The story goes like this: Roxy Hunter (Aria Wallace), a tumultuous and precocious 9 year old has just moved to the sleepy little town of Serenity Falls with her widowed mother, Susan (Robin Brule), and family friend, the boy genius, Max (Demetrius Joyette). Although we don't really know where Max actually came from, it doesn't really matter that much as far as character development goes. Roxy brings her vivid imagination, keen detective skills, and zany personality to the small town where she accidentally uncovers a plot that could destroy her new home. Also, you might want to check out "ROXY HUNTER AND THE SECRET OF THE SHAMAN MOVIE" which also came out in the same year. I'll give this a 5/5 for funny family entertainment. Trust me it's an excellent film. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT MY REVIEWS BY CASTING YOUR VOTE. THANKS.Read full review
