Very good tool, very easy to use. Super helpful on custom project builds. Wish I had bought it sooner!!

Basically got this because there's no other game in town. The plastic components could easily break if not handled with care. The wire you bend to simulate a tire profile was not easily bent even around an existing tire/wheel. It did not hold well in the plastic holders. I think the width/offset adjustment has dead zone right where I needed it for a 7.5" wide ET 45 wheel. If you can overcome or keep in mind this tool's short comings, it might be helpful to check static ride height clearance. Unfortantely, there is no good way for the home mechanic to check fully compressed and turning clearance really. And for wheel/caliper clearance of the spokes and barrel, there's really going to be no substitute for ordering a wheel and mounting it up. If you want to mock up spacers you could get a bunch of washers to go over your lug/bolt to space it out. I ended up buying the ECS spacer kit which was helpful. I may try to figure out how to build a bit better quality tool than this.Read full review

Its an okay product but not as easy to use as they claim. Some what flimsy plastic and the copper wire for the tire size isnt great . It could be made to be much better with out a lot of investment on thier part for starters make it a little beefier. And maybe give a chart for tire height that is broken down into inches so it could be messured with a common tape measure. I do like the fact that once bolted into place you can see any clearance issues provided you have the proper tire on hand to measure the sidewall height so the copper wire can be shaped as the tire substitute

Not that happy with the devise, Price twice of what it should be, Material to flexible, no center line, On top of devise, need strait edge, No markings, for the offset, the Wire they have, dose not fit in the Devise, had to drill out to work. You can make it work, but if There was any other one on the Market, I would buy it. Glenn, Washington state

This will greatly assist in determining what wheel/tire combinations will work on a custom restoration I have started. Car is changing to disc brakes and both front & rear suspension components will be different. This will help establishing traction and steering clearances.
