Sad Story of Lives Lost from Political Control over Military Operations
Incredibly detailed description of the actual events and the political-military competition for control that at times bordered on disfunction. Much loss of life could have been prevented had there not been so much political-military infighting for control.

One Day Too Long by Timothy N. Castle
I bought this because it is a book about where my father was durring the Vietnam War. He was a member of an elite Radar crew that occupied Northern Laos durring the war to guide bmbing raids into nothern Vietnam. This is an excellent read and lets the reader know what the governmnt was keeping hid for so long and that it could have ben avoided if the government payed attention to detail.
