The book is definitely a must read for those parents with daughters. I found there to be too many stories about petty arguments between girls. I believe the author could have made the same point with about half the amount of detailed conversations and fights. An interesting book though and it does make good points about letting girls express their feelings and who they are instead of always expecting them to be "the good girl!" I recommend it but get ready for lots of filler...
This is a must read for middle school parents. Really opened my eyes to problems my girl was having.

I read this book and found it to be very insightful in to the lives of kids/teens today, but it did seem to be the same kind of thing over and over. Girls bully in a different way that guys. Maybe it seemed to be too much of the same thing for me because I am a female and I went through it all in school when I was little so I already knew what was going to be discussed. However, I still think it is a good book to read and there are some differences in how much social pressure girls are faced with now compared to 15-20 years ago when I was in elementary-middle school.
I really did not care for this book. The stories and examples were childish and minor. The book was not appealing to me at all. I did not enjoy any parts of the book.
Good book 📖
