I have his other book, "Supercharged!" and I fell in love with both of these. If you are a forced induction enthusiast, these books will help you with the engineering and fabricating of your own super/turbo system. I own 3 different cars, (01 Pon GTP, 98 Eagle TSi AWD, and an 85 Datsun 300ZX Turbo) and I have used all these aspects for testing and tuning my OEM/Aftermarket systems. It is definietly one of the better books on these systems. You will not regret your purchase.
Excellent information presented in an entertaining format that's both easy to follow and comprehensive.

Overall the book is very good. If you are considering adding a turbocharger to your car this book is a must. It will lead you step by step through the entire process. It will help you pick a car with a turbo, buy a turbo kit or put the parts together yourself and even help you decide which plan is best for you. I was pleased with much of the technical detail provided and even more so by the amount of 'street bull' that he debunked. It is a clear, straightforward what to do and what not to do and why. I was a bit disappointed that he glossed over some of the theoretical aspects though, specifically the formula for theoretical adiabatic temperature increase. Still, very strong, must read for anyone considering a turbo.
Just what I needed! The book provides essential information for a person new to turbocharging a motor.
