Management Information Systems for the Information Age by Amy Phillips, Maeve Cummings, Stephen Haag (2005, Package)is a good book, but outdated publication. Newer editions are out! As a university professor, I have used it as a textbook, when I tqaught MIS to MBA students. Let me mention how this product rates in comparison to other books on Management Information Systems. In my opinion, it is above average.
I bought it for my university course, it was clear and easy to understand content. With more than 400 definition in the glossary. I will recommend to other users.
This book covers a general overview of IT Systems. Which is good for someone who is looking to get general overall knowledge on various subject matters. Also their additional learning modules are very useful. For the advanced IT professional who is well rounded in all areas of IT I would not suggest this book unless you are looking to freshen up on some key areas.
Basic computer info systems book. Explanations are great for the most part but certain "end of chapter" sections only provide basic information and do not go into detail. Overall, a very good book.
Very easy to follow, lots of images and graphs. Very detailed explanations. Although, I would have liked for the vocabulary for each chapter to be at the end of each chapter instead of in a huge glossary at the end of the book.
