At first I was not sure about how well these rings would hold on my dovetail base but WOW they are rock solid and do not move at all. These are perfect on my CZ 452 Ultra Lux .22 I can still use the awesome military style iron sights on this gun for close up shots!!!! I can completely see my whole irons sights with these rings unlike some other see thru rings I have tried in the past. Bottom line is these work great and are of great quality and affordable price and I will use these on my other rifles as well. P.S. mount your scope loosely at first in the top of rings and then put rings with scope on dovetail base and pre position it all, then slowly tighten the bottom screws first so they don't slide on the base, then level your crosshairs and slowly tighten the top screws, keep checking scope level while tightening all screws and make sure the bottom screws are good and tight before fully snugging up the top screws. A little tricky but I did it with out any help and its perfect.. AAAAAAAAAA+++++++++++++++Read full review

If you are like me and hate the elimination of iron sites, this is the best value period. The cheap import ones all block everything but the top of the front site and make the sites unusable at best. These Leupold (well respected brand) are the perfect option and work way better than the others that I have tried. They look cooler compared to the only other ones that I could find that don't block the front site. They seem to stick on a plastic pellet gun weaver mount and the scope seems to be holding zero... Great for .22LR and pellet rifles where you might want to shoot a tin can that is close to you or a fast moving rodent in the backyard that would make using the scope tedious at best. I will get that rat soon enough... his days are numbered.

You can't go wrong with Leupold products. I used these mounts to put a Nikon Pro Staff rimfire scope 3x9x40mm on my vintage Glenfield Model 20. The high mounts were just what I needed. Put the scope up plenty high enough to easily use the rifle's iron sights for close shots. Very pleased with the purchase and they arrived very fast. Thanks.

I have only myself to blame. Had I been more observant, I would have realized that the "see through" part of the rigs are large enough to drive a Mack truck through.Way higher than needed on a .22, (or at least mine)..I could stack three of the .22 BLR rear sights that I put these on and still have room to spare. Looked for some medium vs the 'high' see throughs I purchased (after the fact) but didn't see any. Maybe need to look some more. They may have an application that requires that high of a see through, but I sure didn't need these.Like I said, my fault. High cheek weld required, but they are 'usable'. BTW, they ARE high quality.

I bought a cheap scope that was described as for rimfire, and the salesman at Dicks said it would be good on the Henry .22. But... the dovetail mount rings supplied were not the correct size for the 3/8" on this rifle. So, I bought these rings and mounted the scope. Everything worked fine, and they seem sturdy enough.
