I've been a fan of Kershaw's assisted opening line having owned Chives Scallions and Leeks preferring the later for EDC.. The Al Mar AM-4 is a nice low profile design that fits a pocket well and my hand better. I was looking for basically a Leek with a little bit thicker handle but not so much as to be bulky. I found it with this knife. It's a handsome knife with good lines and an affordable price from a name known for quality. All in all an excellent value

Great quality at a great price. I love the Al-Mar style, sleek & stylish! Deep carry, smooth G-10, nice assisted opening & a sleek sharp blade. Great gentleman’s knife. You get a lot for such a great price! I recommend this knife!

Pros: Convenient flipper, less noisy than most folders, lightweight, sharp. Cons: Handle may feel slightly slippery, thumb stud is hard to use.

Wife got me the AM-3 2335 w/ the 3" blade and I liked it so well, I bought the AM-4 2330 with the 3.5" blade to go with it. Some call these a "gentleman's knife"; well, I don't know about that but they do make a good EDC knife. The deep conceal clip is a nice feature. Both take a razor's edge with just a stroke or two on good sharpening steel. Couldn't make up my mind which to carry, so I carry both.
