I bought this and used it for a week before returning it. Ingersoll has it listed for 450 ft/lbs so I'm going to ignore the ones that have even sillier specs like over 600. I tried loosening a couple of bigger bolts that it should easily have been able to loosen with "450 ft/lbs" but wouldn't. I borrowed a co-workers Ingersoll Rand 2125 which is basically a 3/8 gun but with a 1/2 " anvil. With the same socket and airline the 2125 loosened the bolts without a problem both times and it's rated at far less (332 ft/lbs reverse). Clearly this gun is worthless. I also found that with this gun and usinga 120 ft/lb torque stick on wheel lugs, it tightens down to about 75 ft/lbs. This gun is unsafe in my opinion. Too bad because I like every other Ingersoll Rand tool I've bought. Hopefully this gun isn't a sign of whats to come.Read full review

I have the MATCO version of this impact in 3/8 and 1/2 in with torque of 550 and 600 ftlbs. They are awesome . Both of mine are about a year old . Have used the 1/2 in to take off and put on rear wheel combine log nuts , no problems !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
