I have looked for quite some time for an affordable color laser printer. This one fit the bill exactly! Because it was refurbished it was very affordable (in fact the toner for it cost almost three times what the printer did). The only thing to be careful with is that it came with NO CORDS. Having set up my own wireless network in my home I already had the cords I needed, although they can easily be bought at any number of retail outlets. It connected to my network effortlessly and the "Air Print" connected to the iOS devices on the network with no problems. Having worked with HP printers in the past I knew their reputation was very good and this printer has done nothing to make me change my mind. I bought the printer to replace an inset printer from another manufacturer that just was not getting the job done, i.e. devices not connecting consistently and ink replacement required much too often. If I had known it would be this easy to set up I would have bought one years ago. Home office/on the road/ no wires to run to laptop and a big mess at your work area. Very easy to install and prints much faster than my old desk jet 1512. It has a lot better print quality too. 5+ STARS.

Much cheaper to operate than inkjets. I've had mine more than 2 years, and had zero misfeeds on both scanning and printing. The mobile compatibility features work well, too. Great print quality, as you would expect from HP. Cartridges are expensive, but in the long run much cheaper than inkjets, and no worries about dried out or clogged cartridges if you haven't used it for a month or so.This version has been replaced with a newer one, but I don't have the model number.
