I bought this book after reading Andrew Breitbart's "Righteous Indignation." Maybe it's Ebner's influence or that Breitbart's writing has gotten better, but this was not as easy a read which is surprising given the content; surely Hollywood is not as intellectual as Politics, but then given the state of things today, maybe not! In any case, the similarities of the better-than-thou attitude displayed by both politicians and celebrities are the same. Truth is that celebrities are no better or worse than the rest of humankind, the glaring difference is that their money and fame gives many of them the false impression that they are as the book points out. Ebner and Breitbart share non-glamorized tales of celebrities at their worst. There are no real surprises here, but if you ever needed reminding that the beautiful people have just as many warts as the rest of us (just better make-up artist, trainers and publicist to cover them) here's your book.Read full review
