This gadget does everything you'd want from a timer: It counts up, and it counts down; you can directly set the hours, minutes and seconds you want to start from. It is inexpensive, but seems to be well made. Also, when the alarm goes off, at first it is a continuous ringing, then after a minute or so, it switches to an intermittent chirping. The only feature that needs improvement is the magnet. I added my own stronger magnets so the timer will stay put on the side of the refrigerator.

I like this timer, it counts up or down. It has a magnet and it also can be stood up for convenience. Great uses, and easy to read and use. Accurate and functional.

The timer does not beep to confirm that the user has pushed a button, either to set a time interval or to start counting, but beeps only when the time has run out. The sound volume is substantially lower than that of the Radio Shack timer whose demise led me to buy this one. These two design decisions undoubtedly contribute to longer battery life.

The timer is easy to use with reset options, count up and count down, and the option to pick the time without counting up or down. It has a stand and has good brightness and good sound quality. It has been dropped a few times and is still counting. Durable and it was inexpensive.

This is a super neat little timer. It is dead easy to use and it can be set to either count down to sound a beeping alarm or it can count up and used as an event timer. One super nice feature about the timer is that it uses a single, easy to buy AAA battery and not a hard to find watch or hearing aid battery as so many other timers do. The battery is not included but you can buy them just about anywhere.
